PVC ball valve function
Ball valve, the opening and closing part (ball) is driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the valve stem. Mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. What are the skills of pvc ball valve maintenance
★ If the ball valve leaks due to the loose handle, clamp the handle in a vise, and then turn the handle counterclockwise to tighten it. It should be noted that you need to be careful when tightening the handle, do not use too much force, otherwise the ball valve will easily be damaged.
★ If the connection between the pvc ball valve and the water pipe is not tight, the sealing is not good, and there is water leakage, you can wrap the raw material tape valve at the place where the water pipe connects the ball, and install the ball valve after winding to avoid water leakage.
★ If there is water leakage due to cracking or defect of the ball valve, the old ball valve should be disassembled and re-installed.
It should be noted that the pvc ball valve needs to be operated correctly when disassembling and assembling, and the following points should be done well.
★ After the ball valve is closed, all pressure in the ball valve must be released before disassembly, otherwise danger may occur. A lot of people don’t pay attention to this. Disassemble immediately after valve is closed. There is still some pressure in there. This part of the pressure is not released, which is not conducive to personal safety.
★ After the ball valve is disassembled and repaired, it needs to be installed in the opposite direction of disassembly and tightened, otherwise it will leak.
